A Clip From Cosmo: "Good Things to Say to Her"

In Cosmo's March '09 magazine, I found a good article: "Cosmo for Your Guy: Good Things to Say to Her" by Mina Azodi (cool name).  In the article, Mina gives four good sayings a man should express to his girl.  I won't bore you with the other three since I already know them, but the last one caught my attention:

"'I love you because...'

Just dropping the L word may seem like 

enough of a romantic gesture to you, but 

sometimes, she's wondering, Why?  

It's not that she can't think of any reasons 

you'd be into her⎯it's just that your girl-

friend sometimes likes to hear you put 

them into words.  'The more specific you 

are in your explanation, the better,' [Barton] 

Goldsmith says.  'Men don't do that nearly 

enough, which is why women often end up 

fishing for compliments.'"

I think this holds truth for both parties.  People love to know why they're loved.  So start specifying!
